I Think I'm Nesting
We're getting ready for little Austin to come! I've been trying to work as much as possible, but when you have a bowling ball under your shirt it makes getting close to mouths a little tough. In my spare time I have been getting the nursery ready.
All I have to say is "Ta-Da!" Please note the paper lanterns. They were really hard to hang and they're still trying to straighten out. (I'm still proud of them) We've decided to go with a polka dot theme for the room.
Our little guy does not have his own room- he's being forced to have his room combined with the office. We're still trying to downsize on all of our stuff. We're trying to decide if we really need all of our old tests and homework. I guess we still think we need them since they're still in his room. Maybe we'll change our minds before he comes... or the next baby. Andrew thinks that the walk in closet would make a fine little bedroom for Austin and he's a little bitter he's infringing on his territory. :)
It's been fun finding little accessories- like my dot rugs!
I'm especially proud of the crib bedding. With lots of help from my wonderful Mother-in-law, Rinda, I was able to make the crib quilt, bumper, and glider cover. I was trying to be "cheap" about the bedding and make my own, but I ended up purchasing a sewing machine. Woops :)
So ready or not Austin, we're ready for you to come!

SO cute!! Loving it! :) We got our blinds up last night... I feel like our room is finally coming together! :) (jot and tittles). Sorry I didnt get to call you last night, life is so crazy busy! Last night I was asking Matt if people do it to us or if it is just us doing it to ourselves! Probably a combo of both! haha! I will call soon!

Oh Mandy it turned out so cute! I can't believe how domestic you've become-- making all of that stuff. :) It's amazing what being pregnant can do to your skill level.
The paper lanterns look great, and I love the accesorizing with the polka dotted floor. Seriously, very cute.
Amber- don't you remember that our goal was to become domestic? I'm just trying to keep up with you! I can't wait to see pictures of Brooklyn's room and pictures from Georgia!

Cutest nursery! I love it! And you've inspired me to make covers for the cushions on the glider I have in Cala's room. The cushions are pink and dont fit in at all in her room.
